What is SLCStage?

SLCStage.com is a place where actors can find out the latest information about theater audtions and productions around the Salt Lake valley and beyond.

What is SLCStage not?

SLCStage.com is not a theater or production company. We do not currently produce plays. We do not take resumés or contact individuals about productions unless we are personally working on an unrelated production.

Why is SLCStage?

A few years ago, an actor named Mike Brown realized that there was a need for an efficient method to get audition information for shows. Selfishly he realized that he, as an actor, was missing out on many opportunities. He included about 60 of his close personal friends on this quest as the info was gathered. Since then, SLCStage.com has grown to the point that, on a given week, 10 times the number of original members will visit the site.

Plus, it is Mike's belief that competition pushes a person to better themselves. The better the competition at an audition, the harder you’ll have to work at your craft.

How do I subscribe to get updates?

That is painfully easy. Just send an e-mail to the following address…
SLCStage-subscribe@yahoogroups.com, reply to the system response and you’re all set. People on the subscription system will be notified of updates every week. Also, subscribers occasionally get notices before they go onto the website.

How do I unsubscribe from updates?

Why on earth would you want to do that? Pfffft! Oh well. Just send an e-mail to… SLCStage-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com. You’re just kidding yourself though.

Who is behind this?

The site is owned by Joel Kelly. Actor and marketing guru for Hale Centre Theatre, West Valley.

And, your humble webmaster is Mike Brown. If you can’t find information about him at the local library, you can always check his personal website… mikebrown.us.
