Acting Up Youth Workshop
Acting Up at The Off Broadway Theatre will be offering a FREE 3 day acting workshop for kids age 5-18. Come for 3 days and learn a full length production and perform on The Off Broadway stage. Mike Fenton Actor's Workshop
Mike Fenton has cast some of the greatest movies ever made with over 31 years of experience working on award-winning motion pictures and television shows. He brings his legacy to the American Studio Corporation (ASC) where he is a member if the Board of Directors. Mr. Fenton has achieved a well-deserved legendary status among his peers in Hollywood and the Entertainment industry, and was recently honored with the Hollywood Film Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, Mr. Fenton was the co-founder of the Casting Society of America (CSA). The CSA is responsible for enforcing the highest standards of professionalism in casting. Mike Fenton is one of the top Casting Directors in the Entertainment business. He is the only Casting Director to have worked with every major Director in Hollywood.
He has cast for Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Roman Polanski, Ridley Scott, Robert Zemeckis, Francis Ford Coppola, Sydney Pollack, Stanley Kubrick, Mel Brooks, and many other.
He has cast over 250 productions: The Godfather II, American Graffiti, Aliens, Blade Runner, Chinatown, E.T., One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Young Frankenstein, Marathon Man, Blown Away, Honeymoon in Vegas, The Burbs, Stakeout, Slapshot, Innerspace, Arthur II On the Rocks, Raider of the Lost Ark I II and III, Back to the Future I II and III, Total Recall, The Deep, Poltergeist, Footloose, Shampoo, and Justice for All and is currently working in the “Last of the Savages,” a new Sydney Pollack film.

The Peterson Studio
The Peterson Studio of West Jordan, Utah is proud to announce Acting Out Loud. This program is based on our philosophy that an actors body, voice, and mind are the greatest tools and they need specific development. Our students are taught to be bold in their movements, confident in their voice and intelligent in their character development. Acting Out Loud offers levels of advancement that will individually challenge students and increase acting talents. Classes cover the spectra of skills including; Movement, Vocalization, Character Creations, Audition Preparation, Monologue Performance, Scene Performance and Group Performance. At the end of each session students test their skills through performance in our Acting Out Loud Showdown.

Stage Performance and Film Classes
The Academy of Performing Arts is dedicated to providing quality acting classes for all ages at reasonable prices.
Youth Stage Performance Class (ages 5-13) meets Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:15-5:45pm, and Teen-Adult Performance Class (ages 14 & up) meets Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:15-5:45pm. These classes are 8 week sessions and cover all the fundametnals of the stage including, acting, blocking, memorization, lighting, make-up and costumes. Each session ends with 2 evenings of performances for family, friends and the community. Cost is $150 per month or $100 per month with a 6 month contract. Youth Film Class (ages 6-12) meets Saturdays from 10am-12pm, and Teen-Adult Film Class (ages 13 & up) meets Wednesdays from 6:30pm-9:30pm. The Academy of Performing Arts is dedicated to providing quality dance classes for all ages at reasonable prices.
Classes are taught by professionals in the fields of ballet, jazz & hip hop dance. We offer Ballet with Annie Brenenman of Ballet West on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15pm (ages 8 & up) and Saturdays from 11:45am-2:00pm (teen-adult). Jazz with Leslie Pomeroy is held on Mondays & Fridays from 4:15-5:30pm (teen-adult). Leslie is a professional dancer and actress having performed on Broadway & in LA. Hip hop with Dominique Razon on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:30pm & Saturdays 11:15am-12:30pm (ages 10 & up). Cost is $40 a month for 1 class per week, $72 a month for 2 classes per week, $102 a month for 3 classes per week, $128 a month for 4 classes per week. Professional Actor’s Workshop
The Professional Actors Workshop: Phase I – Acting for Film & Television classes will begin shortly. Classes are taught by Lance Williams.
Mr. Williams was co-producer of the recently acclaimed movie, "Jack Weyland's Charly." He received his Masters in Film Direction at UCLA. His experience in the industry on both national and local levels give him a unique insight into what it takes to "make it" in the industry. Classes are $500 for 10 weeks (40 hours). Guitar for the Campfire

Rhythm in Writing: The Music
of Poetry and Creative Writing
A writing course exploring the lyrical aspects of sounds and combinations of words in expressive language for the aspiring poet and/or storyteller. Interactive/participatory lessons in generating ideas, writing, rewriting, sharing, critique, conceptualization, and expression.

Ogden’s Free Music Society
Whether you play the oboe, a sitar, a drum, or the banjo, you will get the chance to share your talents, gain inspiration, and jam with fellow Ogden musicians. Bring a song, a friend, or even just an open ear.
Once the Free Music Society gets under way, bands will bloom and musical mayhem will permeate Peery's Egyptian Theater and then some. Society meets Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. No Charge.
