“This Is Your Life”
Currently in SLC, and holding auditions today at the Marriott City Center Hotel.
The show is This Is Your Life, and it will be touring middle schools in and around SLC from January to June. it is a paid tour. the website is www.foodplay.com - we are partnering with IHC to help fight obesity and unhealthy living in our youth. a great cause, and a fun show!

Phoenix Theatre Company
“Robin Hood”
The Phoenix Theatre Company will hold auditions for its production of Robin Hood on Mon., November 12th and Wed., November 14th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Academy of Performing Arts Complex located at 3188 South 400 East in South Salt Lake. Directed and adapted by Academy President Collin Kreuzer, this original production promises all the swashbuckling adventure Utah theatre lovers of all ages can handle. Robin Hood will run from January 11 through February 9, 2008. To schedule an audition call the Box Office at 801-486-2728. Parts are available for men, women, and children 12 years of age and older. A recent headshot and résumé are requested but not essential.

Collette Call
"Power In His Touch"
Auditions are being held for the musical Power in His Touch by local composer/playwright Colette Call. It will run March 21, 22 and 24th at Cottonwood High School. The musical is an energetic, non-denominational celebration of Christ’s message of compassion and hope.
Much of the music from Power in His Touch has previously been released on a CD, earning a 2002 Pearl Award and a three-star review from the Deseret News. The musical itself premiered in April 2005 in Salt Lake City with highly favorable reviews and sold out performances.
The 2008 production will be directed by singer/actor George Dyer. All roles are open, including the male and female leads, six principal characters and two child soloists, plus ensemble. See attached sheet for cast list. Actors will be paid a small stipend.
Auditions will be held October 23 and 25, 2007 at Summerhays Music (5450 South Green Street, Salt Lake City) from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Come prepared with 1-2 songs in Musical Theater/Broadway style and bring a resume and photo. "Broadway Bound 2"
The Academy of Performing Arts will be holding auditions for its upcoming variety show BROADWAY BOUND 2 on Tues., Oct. 30th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 3188 South 400 East, South Salt Lake. Please bring current headshot and résumé, if available. Depending on your choice of intended performance be prepared to perform 32 bars of a musical theatre-style song or a 1-minute monologue or a 2-3 minute dance routine. Proficient instrumentalists are invited to audition. Individuals and groups are welcome. A CD player will be provided for playing minus-tracks and CDs. The show runs Fri., Nov. 16th and Sat., Nov. 17th at 7:30 p.m.

Wasatch Theatre Company
"What The Butler Saw"
Wasatch Theatre Company is holding auditions for its upcoming production of What the Butler Saw by Joe Orton on Wednesday, October 24th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 a.m. – Noon in Studio A at the Rose Wagner Center for the Performing Arts (138 West 300 South). The play is a satire on psychiatry, sexual dysfunction, and authoritarian regulations in the framework of a British door-slamming farce. The show will be performed in the Studio Theatre at the Rose Wagner from January 17 to February 3. Directed by George Plautz, the cast includes two men and one woman in their 30’s to 40’s, a man and woman in their 20’s and another man in his 20’s or 30’s. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and to give their best British accents. For more information, call 446-5657.

U of U Law School
Mock Trial Actors
The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law is looking for actors/actresses to play clients in mock interviews/counseling sessions with law students.
We are looking for male and female actors who are available for times during the day (8:00-3:30 pm) on September 24-28 and October 23-26.
Must be available during both weeks to participate, but not for the entire day or all days. 2-3 hour increments work well.
Actors will receive $10 for preparation time (Approx. 1 hour) and $10 per student which is ($5 for the interview (Sept. 24-28) and $5 for the counseling session (October 23-26)). Sessions run about 30 minutes each.
